Have you ever noticed that time seems to shift gears? For example, this week was a painfully long one – it seemed to take forever for Friday to roll around, and I know I'm not the only one who felt it. But it's finally Friday – my evening to open a bottle of red wine and order a large pepperoni pizza!

Friday means jeans at work which means my whole day is better. This is a long weekend for us too, we call that icing on the cake.
The real shift is the blinding speed with which the weekend passes. Ouch. No matter how long it is the weekend always seems short.
Let's hear it for the glass of wine at the end of a long week!
